What's New at Heinemann-Raintree Library?

  NEW FALL 2010 PRODUCTS!  

How about 286 new Titles in 40 Brand New Series for Fall 2010?!

Plus we've added 16 new titles to our popular Culture in Action series!

(Not to mention the 46 new titles from this past Spring!)

• New Design:  As you have no doubt noticed by now, we've redesigned the look and feel of the entire site.  We've tried to keep the major functions and sections where they were before to keep confusion to a minimum, but felt it was high time we updated the way the site looks and improved the navigation at the top.  Now more key features that our customers use the most are just a click away!
• Online Catalog:  Can't wait to see the new Library 2010-2011 catalog?  Now you don't have to!  You can still request to have one shipped to you, but we've also put the entire catalog online so that you can flip through it just like you would if it were in your hot little hands.  Turn the pages by clicking buttons or the pages themselves, blow up the pages to actual size, go to a specific page, and so on.  Plus, it looks like you're actually turning the pages...which is kind of neat.  :-)
• Major Correlations Reporting Upgrade:  In May 2010, we significantly upgraded the way that the correlated product is displayed in our Correlation Tool to include all of our available Leveling information, as well as a one-click solution to export the results directly into an Excel file that you can also use as an order form.  Correlations have never been easier!
• CollectionWiz™ Added:  Put Library Management At Your Fingertips with CollectionWiz™ , the fast, easy, and free way to help you with your collection development efforts of planning, weeding, and acquiring new library materials.  CollectionWiz™ will help you identify your aged items and provide you with useful statistical information on each Dewey area.  And, to assist you in those weaker areas of your collection, CollectionWiz™ provides you with lists of quality Heinemann-Raintree Library product – all correlated to your state curriculum standards.
  
  In addition CollectionWiz™ will alert you to the titles you already own, helping you to avoid purchasing unintended duplicates!  All you need to do is export your MARC records from your library automation system, and upload them to our service.  No setup work is necessary!  Learn more and start using CollectionWiz™ today!
• Accelerated Reader® Changes:  As of June 2010, Renaissance Learning removed the 20-book minimum for ordering their Accelerated Reader® quizzes.  However, orders with 19 titles or less are limited strictly to downloadable quiz format.  To receive the quizzes on a CD-ROM, you must still order at least 20 quizzable titles.  The Bookbag and Checkout process will let you know how many quizzes you have and which option is available to you with that specific order.
• New Rep Finder Map:  Our Rep Finder system enables you to enter your Zip Code to quickly identify precisely the right person to call for your local needs.  But some customers miss the old maps we used to display, so we've brought back the map and now it's downloadable!

While we like to think that our web site is the best way to order directly from Heinemann-Raintree Library, there are a lot of our customers who need (or prefer) to fill out an offline order form.  Last year we added a credit card/purchase order info section, In-Form Help, Library Processing Specifications, and upgraded programming of our Emailable Order feature.  It's features like those that makes our customers and reps say that it's "the best order form in the business"!  But we wanted to take it further and make it even better:

Accelerated Reader® Quizzes:  By checking one cell, the form will total up all of the titles that have Accelerated Reader® levels so that you can order them with your books.  Remember that Renaissance Learning has waived the 20-title limit to order quizzes, so now any order can include Accelerated Reader® quizzes!  (Note that orders with less than 20 titles are only eligible for download able titles.  To get a CD-ROM, you still need at least 20 titles in your order.)
